WHO WE ARE
Having been operating since 2015, Society Care Initiative for the Development of the Underprivileged focuses on addressing crucial developmental issues or constraints as a result of “poverty” that are ravaging the marginalized communities, vulnerable groups, underprivileged persons and persons with disabilities in the society.
In 2022, we officially got registered with CAC to fulfill our potentials of getting across board in carrying out our works of charity. Our goals include:
- Promoting an inclusive society
- Promoting a right based approach to development
- Empowering families by providing healthy environments
- Promoting sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth
Help the Children
Support the children of the poor just by giving a little and become a saviour for them.
Despite being rich in cultural heritage, with the abundance of people and natural resources, Nigeria remains one of the largest poverty capitals in the world.
OUR OBJECTIVES
One
To promote an inclusive society where children, women, young lives, vulnerable groups, underprivileged and disable organizations have access to basic societal information through advocacy, communication and civic education.
Two
To promote a right based approach to development by empowering disadvantage communities, vulnerable and underprivileged persons to fight poverty in four front (Education, Health, Livelihood and skills Acquisition) in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 1 – 6).
Three
To empower families with decent homes and other infrastructure and a healthy environment where all underprivileged can live with dignity and hope.
Four
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth that encourages entrepreneurship and job creation. (SDG 8).
Five
To encourage and empower friendly community groups to care, nurture peace, cultural values, vocational trainings and sports essential in community building and development.
Six
To advocate for the basic rights of the vulnerable and underprivileged in the society against stigma and discrimination.
