Who we are
Society Care Initiative for the Development of the Underprivileged is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that is equally non-partisan focusing on addressing crucial developmental issues or constraints as a result of “poverty” that is ravaging the marginalized communities, vulnerable groups, persons with disabilities and underprivileged society.
Society Care Initiative for the Development of the Underprivileged has been in operation since 2015 promoting inclusive society, community awareness and mobilization, community, social and right based approach to development, empowering families by providing healthy environments, promoting sustainable economic growth to reduce and eradicate poverty in the society.
In 2022, we officially got registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) in Nigeria to fulfill our potentials of getting across board, carrying out our work in tackling the scourge of poverty through providing multi-sectoral interventions by promoting sustainable development in area such as Advocacy, Communication and Civic Education, Sustainable Livelihood, Child Labour and Abuse, Social Economic Development, Climate Action, Trafficking and Irregular Migration, Women Empowerment , Gender Equality, Conflict Resolution, Peace Building and Good Governance as we work with relevant Government organizations / agencies, Community Based Organization, Donor agencies, International Organization, Boundary partners, Civil Society Organizations, communities, corporate bodies, partners and Disable People Organizations.
To fight the scourge of poverty and barriers in the society.
Promote an effective community and social development interventions where everyone participates fully irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity and race to eliminate, reduce and overcome the enormous threat of poverty.
To empower underprivileged communities in the society with interventions that will help break the cycle of poverty through sustainable development.

To promote an inclusive society where children, women, young lives, vulnerable groups, underprivileged persons and communities have access to basic social amenities and relevant information through advocacy, communication and civic education.

To promote a right, social and community-based approach to development by empowering disadvantage communities, vulnerable and underprivileged persons to fight poverty through (quality education, good health and well – being, food security and improved nutrition, promote sustainable agriculture, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth) in line with Sustainable Development Goals.

To encourage and empower friendly community groups to care, nurture peace, cultural values, vocational training and sports development in community building.

Working with key partners, organizations and Government at all levels to advocate, promote, carry out trainings, disseminate information on Climate Action to combat climate changes and its impacts, Women Empowerment, Gender Equality, Gender – Based Violence, Child Labour and Abuse, Trafficking and irregular migration.
